🌗 Two Voices: How to Discern the True God from the False

In this world, two voices speak — one of truth, one of distortion. One is the loving call of the true God. The other... is an imitation.

Scripture warns us:

“Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”
– 2 Corinthians 11:14

The false voice pretends to be God, but demands the opposite of love:

• ⚔️ It demands fear, not freedom
• 🧊 It uses control, not compassion
• 🪞 It flatters ego or crushes dignity
• 🙄 It asks for worship but gives no love

Some have sensed this distortion — even ancient gnostics believed a false god tried to enslave the world. But truth must go further: there is a real God, full of light, mercy, and grace.

“God is love.”
– 1 John 4:8

The true God doesn’t enslave — He sets free. Doesn’t demand terror — He invites trust. Doesn’t manipulate — He sacrifices.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear...”
– 1 John 4:18

So how do you know which voice you’re hearing?

• 🌿 One draws you near with peace
• 🔗 One keeps you bound in guilt or fear
• ✨ One wants your heart — the other wants your control

“By their fruits you will recognize them.”
– Matthew 7:16
