π Why God Desires Our Love π
If God is infinite, perfect, and complete... why does He want us to love Him? Is it for His sake β or ours?
The truth is: God doesnβt lack love β He is love itself. He is eternally full. He needs nothing. But love, by its nature, longs to be shared. π
God doesnβt βneedβ our love β we do. Because when we love Him, something sacred happens: πΏ we reconnect to our source, β¨ our soul awakens, ποΈ we begin to live in the light we were made for.
βWe love because He first loved us.β
β 1 John 4:19
God desires your love not from lack, but from **overflowing love** β like a father longing to hear his child say βI love you too.β He waits not with pride, but with open arms.
βThe Lord your God... will take great delight in you; He will rejoice over you with singing.β
β Zephaniah 3:17
When you love God freely and truly, you don't βcompleteβ Him β π you awaken the joy of Heaven. Like the Father in the story of the prodigal son, He runs to embrace the heart that returns.
βThis son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.β
β Luke 15:24
π God doesnβt need your love to exist β but He longs for it to bring you home. π
