The Church of Christ Was Hijacked ๐
Jesus came to build a living Church โ not in stone and gold, but in hearts on fire. A community of love, not a machinery of control. But something shifted. Something was lost.
In the beginning, the Church was a movement of the Spirit. The apostles preached boldly, loved deeply, gathered in homes, and laid down their lives for Truth.
But after Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity in 313 A.D., the Church gained power, property, and prestige. Many saw this as a victory. But it was also the beginning of a quiet hijacking:
- ๐ฅ Martyrs were replaced by managers
- ๐ผ The Spirit was replaced by structure
- โ๏ธ Free love became forced obedience
- ๐ญ The living Christ was buried under ritual
Pagan symbols crept in. Simplicity faded under the weight of tradition. What began as a radical movement of love became, in places, a system of fear and hierarchy.
๐๏ธ But the true Church cannot be destroyed
The Church of Christ is not an institution. It is a living body โ made of hearts awakened by love.
Jesus did not die to create a religion of fear, but to birth a family of freedom. He came not to build an empire, but to bring the Kingdom of God โ within us.
In every generation, God awakens a remnant โ those who return to the essence:
To love God. To walk in truth. To know Christ personally.
โThe Spirit and the Bride say, Come.โ โ Revelation 22:17
๐ If youโve felt the pull toward a real, living faith โ youโre not alone
Maybe youโve felt it too: The hollowness of ritual without life. The question, โWhere is the real Jesus?โ
The answer is simple: Heโs still here. Heโs waiting. And Heโs calling.
The true Church hasnโt died. Itโs rising again โ in those who choose love over fear, relationship over religion, truth over tradition.
โค๏ธ Return to Christ. To Truth. To Life.
The institution may have been hijacked โ but you are not lost.
Truth knocks. Love calls. Christ still wants your heart, not your performance.
The system may be broken, but the Spirit is still moving.
And those who truly seek will not be deceived.
โAnd you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.โ โ John 8:32
